Question:
Has any one had Illinois public aid to pay for their WLS?

I have Illinois Public Aid medical card. I have been told that they will pay and that they wont pay does any one have a straight answer. I am about180 pounds over weight, but dont have alot of health problems except for leg and back pain and depression. Can any one tell me where to turn.    — Krista C. (posted on November 16, 2003)

i have medicare/medicad and it paid 100% for my surgery, without a problem, my surgeon did all the paperwork and i was approved right away.. i just had a anchor panni/gallbladder/heria repair in sept, and it also was covered, praise the lord :) i also had other health factors that helped with being approved, good luck
