Question:
Is is normal to be so low in energy 3 wks post op?

I'm 3 weeks post-op and can barely walk a few feet without being out of breath. It doesn't seem to be getting any better yet. I had to be readmitted to the hospital last week for 4 days because of a high white blood cell count, but they never found the cause. Should I worry at this point?    — Jayne W. The 2nd to 3rd weeks post-op, I was really tired too. If you had a high white blood cell count, chances are that you had some kind of an infection somewhere. Even if they didn't find it, I am assuming they gave you strong antibiotics, which can also make you tired. If you are concerned about it, talk it over with your Dr.
