Question:
Does anyone recommend a surgeon in the Pasadena/L.A. area who ...

I am having surgery with Dr. Bengt Pehrsson at Huntington Hospital on Thursday. I'll keep you posted. Everything has been fine so far. They have a support group on Tuesday nights. Call 626-445-0600 for more info

The absolute best surgeons (most experienced) in the area are the Comprehensive Surgical Specialists Bariatric SCenters group in Pasadena and Arcadia. I had my surgery with Dr. Begnt Pehrsson on 9/4/02. In Arcadia call 626.449.4607

I just got back from open RNY surgery in Ensenada, MX...entire surgery/hosp was $6900 U.S. Dr. Aguirre is an excellent surgeon and can handle any and all complications.

Hi, If you go to my profile and click on Dr. Katkhouda you will be directed to all of his info. My friend, Kim K on this board was a self pay with him just recently...she could probably tell you exact costs etc. He is an excellent surgeon and operates out of the USC University Hospital (not County) We have a nutritionist and a small but growing and wonderful support group. I woulnd still not have anyone else do my surgery. Good Luck...ps, all the other Dr.s' people have mentioned are excellent as well...you would be safe with any of them.
