Question:
My PCP has written her recommendation letter, what should I do now?

I vivited my PCP on 6-8-01 and she was going to send my recommendation letter off that day. So what should I do now? I want to be getting stuff together but I really don't know what to do now. I have called Doctors and are getting medical records sent,diet history is written,and I have written a personal letter to my insurance , but do I wait till they write my PCP back before sending it? I'd just like to do whatever I NEED to do to stay on top of things. Any advise would be appreciated.    — Lynda T. (posted on June 14, 2001)

So what is your PCP doing exactly? Sending the request to your insurance for an authorization to see a surgeon or do you already have that? I would think the next step is to see the surgeon and get the appropriate tests etc from them and then have them request the surgery.

It sounds like you are on the right track... I suggest that you get letters from ALL your doctors, even your obgyn! Taking a picture and sending it to your insurance also helps... and if you have yeast under breasts or inbetween your thighs..that helps too! Good Luck
