Question:
Seeking WLS-friendly PCP in Northern Virginia.

I have to switch to Aetna USHC HMO in April. My current plan is a PPO and my Internist doesn't accept Aetna. Does anyone know of a good WLS-friendly PCP in the Arlington or Georgetown area? Even better would be a PCP who speaks Spanish for my husband, but any PCP suggestions would be appreciated.    — PT LawMom (posted on March 14, 2001)

Try Dr. Ortiz at Alexandria Family Medicine (703) 212-0800. He speaks Spanish, and was very encouraging about my decision to have WLS. Said it was a good thing I was doing it now, before I had sever life threatening comorbites
