Anyone know PCP in San Bernardino, CA w/Pacificare for referral?

I need a PCP in San Bernardino/Redlands area who is BLS friendly. My PCP refuses to send anyone to this kind of surgery. I easily qualify. I have Pacificare at Beaver Medical Group in Highland, CA.    — [Anonymous] (posted on February 22, 2001)

Hi! I too have Pacfic Care HMO and live in the Riverside area...I use PrimeCare/ Corona...Dr. Muller/Dr.Lee office is totally WLS friendly...they call me(believe that)...they have handled my referral to my chosen surgeon in Corona that does surgeries at Corona Regional...Dr. Terry Sanderfer...i have had a total of $30 im co pays and am approved pending my pre-op tests..blood, etc...Only took my Pcp office about 6 weeks from my initial appt...be prepared for a psych eval...Pacific Care requires it...stay away from Riverside Psychiatriac Group in Riverside..BEWARE...they were my only problem through this whole process...had to threaten to take them to court to get my psych eval sent to my PCP....you can change your PCP office to anyone that you want and it only takes about 2 weeks to do that...Pacific Care is so flexible and very member oriented...They want their members to be happy....they got right in the middle of the fiasco with my psych eval and got very nasty with the Dr. office for my benefit.....I'm really happy with them...you can e-mail me at [email protected] if you need some help with Pacific Care....Take Care...good luck....
