Congratulations Monica on your upcoming surgery. It sounds like you're off to a good start on the health aspects. You might consider starting a walking routine and practicing on that all important water consumption. Also breathing exercises to strengthen your lungs would be a good idea. Since you do have a rather lengthy wait, you might also consider some financial aspects also. You could start buying up some protein supplements, and foods that are high in protein. I started stocking up on canned tuna, chicken, turkey, and ham. You could also buy a few suits of clothes in smaller sizes. It seems that clothing is a problem (although an invited problem) in WLS patients. If you buy one or two items a week, by the time your surgery date arrives you should be well stocked. It will also seem alot easier on the pocket-book that way. Anyway, good luck and good health.
