Yes, those are possible side effects of Wellbutrn XL. I would hope your doctor gets back with you promptly because it may not be titrated correctly for you, or he/she may have to start on a once a day regeim until you are accostomed to the medication. Or as you stated start you on a low dose of immediate release. I have been seeing the same Psychiatrist for 7 years and she is wonderful about titrating my meds. Not all doctors are. Make sure this doctor is attending to your needs. Take care and keep!

Oh, in addition...gastric bypass people normally DO NOT do well with time released medications something your doctor should be aware of now! You may not get the full effect of the antidepressent relief because of absorbtion factors, also.

Yes, it is most likely the Wellbutrin XL. We do not do well on the timed relase stuff & it also may be a lack of Water in you system. Drink More, You could be dehydrated & this will cause the dizziness. Do not wait, make sure you Doctor is aware of this & please remind him of the surgury you had, & to switch back to the regular Wellburtin or switch to Lexapro.

Hi there, WE post ops simply cannot take time relesed meds. Or NSAIDS or ibuprofin. THere was a great list somewhere that gives the meds that we no longer are able to take, Iam sorry I have lost info from various reinstalls on the pc. But search it, Hope this helps! your symptoms sound like what I ahve gone through in the past with not taking antidepressants suddenly, you may be ingesting it but it is not being processed by your new plumbing??? Dehydration also causes dizzyness, headache, nausia, floating foggyness.
