RNY, April 2002, Dr. Herrera: open $12,000 - 15,000, lap 15,500 - 17,500. He mostly does lap but WILL do open if requested. He was the only one I found who does a nice distal. AGB, May 2002, Dr. Gongora: approx. $7000. Know him as a plastic surgeon, unsure of his experience, etc at the AGB but did have this recent price quote (just so you know).

I know your post says Mexico but I was wondering if this is because you're considering self pay and think Mexico is less expensive. I was surprised to find through my surgeon's group CSS in Arcadia, California, Lap RNY is $5,000, possibly hospital is extra. e-mail me if you want there information
