Question:
Would having a STD prevent you from being a candidate for surgery?

I have HPV Virus (Human Pappiloma Virus) and my doctor knows this and has referred me for the surgery. I don't know what my surgeon is going to say, but I don't expect it to be a problem. I would suggest just being honest with your doctor and surgeon, and they will help you through it. Also, do a search on STD on this site, and see what others have had to say. Good luck
