Question:
anyone else have vericos veins with superficial blood clots?.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had trouble with buldging vericous veins with superficial bloot clots pre-op??I have had a doppler done before and my PCP said I was ok cuz it was superficial,but I can't help but worry about what may happen when I have surgery......    — kim M. YES- I have the same concern. I'm scheduled for surgery in a month & my legs are bad. I have one protruding. My surgeon is out of town. Any input?

THEY SAT THAT THEY GO AWAY AFTER SURGERY. I'M HOPING THEY DO. MEAN WHILE I'M DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO KEEP A POSITIVE OUTLOOK ON THE WHOLE THING. GOOD LUCK TO YOU

I have the same issue... my vascular surgeron said to wait until after surgery and see how they are. Losing weight definately helps and could possibly "cure" the vein. They also suggested wearing the ulgy compression stocking post surgery to help. You shouldnt have any issues otherwise :)
