Question:
Insurance company asking for more information.

My insurance co is asking for more information from my surgeons office. Is this a good sign or typical? (I tried to post this question to the posts and no one answered - please give me your input - this waiting is driving me nuts!) Thank you.    — Karen A. (posted on August 24, 2000)

I know from experience that an insurance company will do anything they can to put off payment. I am a Medical Office Assistant and have done insurance billing for the last 6 years. They are asking for more information to delay the payment process or the approval process. Just give them what they are asking for and you should be fine. Good Luck and God Bless. Heather
