Question:
Can anyone help me find a PCP in Plant City?

and my surgeon, (Dr. Haicken) is in Largo. i found out an hour ago that the reason my pcp has been dragging his feet on my referral letter is because he has not intentions of writing it. he says (at 415lbs mind you), that my health problems could all be caused by other things than weight. JESUS, i cant beleive him. i found out from the nurse, he just didnt realized how much work it has taken and he is done with it. when i asked to talk to him, he rufuses. all my testing is done. i need an angel PCP, who will take over at the end.    — Tica G. I know everyone's insurance is different. However, my surgeon did not request an approval from my PCP. My surgeon had his own guidelines and testing that he requested. One of which was to go to a cardiologist and his also requested other testing. Do you have to have a referal by your PCP? I did not. Email me if you are interested in my surgeon. He is very well known.

Ok Tica. Calm Down. Perhaps a hour drive back to Largo wouldn't be out of the question here. What you need to do is go to my website and look up surgery friendly doctors. Under PCP's, is my PCP (Dr. Maritza Palusiak). She'll probably want records from your current PCP, but I'm not sure. Call her office, ask to talk to her nurse (it's probably going to be Pat) Tell her the situation and she'll tell you what you need to do with records. They'll want the copies of your pre-op tests...then she'll most likely write the letter. She knows and highly reccomends dr. H. So, first thing Wednesday CALL!!!! You're bypass/email buddy~
