Question:
When does the evaluation happen?

When does the evaluation come about? I just went to my seminar thing last night, and now have all this paperwork to fill out and read, and have to take the exam.. about how long until i have the evaluation? and why is it 4 hours?? I couldnt really handle the 2 and half hour seminar i wonder how i will handle the 4 hour thing.. lovely    — [Deactivated Member] (posted on March 6, 2002)

Crystal, it all depends on your doctor's office and insurance. I first send the paperwork into Weight for Life, the program that my dr uses, they in turn sent in the paperwork to my 2 ins. co., after I was approved I then was able to make the initial apts. with different doctors. After I made the apt with the surgeon and the pulmonary drs. WFL then sent me the paperwork for the pshyc evaluation. You just do not start out with the evaluation and then onto the other steps you have to get the insurance approval first.

I'm already approved.. I have kaiser so before anything you have to be approved with them.. and I'am.. i already did my seminar thing, all my tests, friday i will be doing my ultrasound.. i'm just wondering what all goes on in that eval that takes 4 hours... and what step it comes after..
