Question:
If you are a self pay how long does the whole process take

from initial visit to the procedure, also is there a long wait to get an appointment on average. Would having hospitalization insurance help???    — L. W. (posted on November 26, 2001)

Sorry about above....it posted before I was through typing. As I was saying...He made the arrangements the same day for me to have my surgery. I just had my lab work done today and my surgery is December 6th. Sooo, the whole process has taken about one month and would have been sooner if a bed had been available at the hospital. You also get a hugggge discount with self-pay. The surgery was initially 21,000 but I am now only paying 14,987.... :) Hope this helps. Good luck. Lori
