Question:
HELP! HELP! HELP!

I have been deined agian becasue I have not had 3 supervised diets - but I have! I dont think they are recongizing one of them which was a gym who did weight measurements. What do I do now? The insurance will not let me speak to the ones who makes these decisions. I only get the customer service reps. The denial letter is very vague so I not sure what to do. I need help and I do not know where to go. Is anyone willing to help me with my letter? If so, please please please email me. I am desperate!!! [email protected]. Thanks a million!    — Debbie W. Hello: I just have a couple of questions....Is your insurance comp. OR your medical group that keeps issuing the denial letters. EITHER WAY....you do have the right to request a 72 hour EXPEDITED APPEAL HEARING. My MEDICAL GROUP was the one that kept issuing MY DENIAL(4 TO BE EXACT)and my insurance company(pacific care)ended up being my saving grace...I too had met ALL of the criteria the med group set forth and they were still denying me. Find out WHO is denying you first. If it is the med group...go to a supervisor at your insurance company and honey don't stop there. You have the RIGHT to this surgery if you have met their criteria.....The squeaky wheel DOES get the oil....you can e mail me at [email protected] if you need any further help....Good Luck and keep me informed.....
