Question:
Is there anyone over 60 that has had Lap Band or RNY in Pa.

My friend was just denied by insurance for lap band with a Doctor in Reading. This Doctor will not do RNY on anyone over 60. I guess her insurance will cover RNY but not lap band. If anyone has any answers please write. Susan Wagner    — Susan W. (posted on October 1, 2003)

Not in Pa, but my mother-in-law had RNY is MD at age 65.
