Question:
Has anyone experienced an improvement post-op?

I've had restless leg syndrome driving me crazy for the past 6 years, and am currently taking Elavil, which has helped somewhat. My doctor told me that people with RLS often have sleep apnea, too. And I know that many people who have been on the bi-pap have been able to get off of it post-op. I'd like to know if anyone who has had RLS saw an improvement post-op?    — Teri W. I have experienced the same RLS and since I've been on the C-Pap machine it has gone but I am also 5 months post-op and down 65lbs and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

What a great question. I was wondering the same thing. I am pre-op too and I have RLS and PLM (period leg movements) too, and have been on Mirapex for the PLM/RLS and lo-dose Trazedone for insomnia for 2 years now. They work really well, but I would love to be able to get off these meds if possible.
