any good deals for hotels

i will be having surgery out of town...Hawaiian Gardens CA Tri county Hospital...with dr fobi....any good places to stay nearby that will not be too expensive.    — jade L. (posted on March 22, 2000)

WELL I DON'T KNOW OF ANY HOTELS BUT I LIVE IN WOODLAND HILLS CA (L.A) AND I THINK I'M ABOUT 30-40 MIN FRON DR FOBI'S--PLS ALLOW ME TO OFFER YOU APLACE TO STAY. I HAVE A 2BR 2BA AND I LIVE ALONE, GOAT ACOUCH AND LOVE SEAT AS WELL----YOU AND YOUR'S ARE WELCOME. JUST AN OFFER SO PLS CONSIDER IT -I WORK IN SANTA BARBARA AND MAY BE GONE FOR THREE DAYS AND IT WOULD ALL BE YOU. REASON I'M OFFERING MY HOME IS I KNOW HOW $$ IT CAN GET AND WE'ER ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. NO MATTER WHAT BEST OF LUCK!!!!

I use to live in Los Alamitos and had to drive thru Hawaiian Gardens to get to work in Lakewood. Hawaiian Gardens is NOT a real good area. Try to stay in Los Alamitos or Lakewood. I have not lived in that area since 1980 but I am almost sure that it is probably worse by now. If you are a AAA (Auto Club) member you can go there and get a California Tour Book and it will show you prices and deals that you can get on hotels in that area. If you are not a member of Auto Club, maybe one of your friends or relatives are and they can get one for you. Hope this was some help.
