Question:
Has anyone experienced pain in legs and tailbone that feels like growing pains?

I have been having severe pain in my legs, knees, and tailbone that feels like growing pains. My mom thinks I need Potassium. Could it be lack of vitamins and nutrients? I have been having a few leg cramps. My rear is also going numb alot lately on the left side. I am a service rep so I sit 8 hours a day.    — Courtney B. (posted on June 4, 2001)

After losing weight very rapidly postop, I started having quite a bit of hip pain. When I watched myself walk, I noticed that I carry myself completely differently now. My guess was that my center of gravity had changed, and muscles and joints that were used to one way of walking were being forced to change. I was affected all the way up my body and my neck was even out. One good trip to a Chiropractor that I trusted made a huge difference. This might be one possiblity.

I, also, was having alot of leg cramps, and my pcp recommended that I up my calcium intake and it seemed to do the trick. Instead of two tablets a day I'm taking 3 now. No more legs cramps. Hope this helps.
