Question:
I'm in Columbus, Ohio and having a terrible time finding a psychologist...
that participates with Anthem B/C B/S Blue Access (PPO) that will even consider doing a psychological evaluation. I used Dr. Evie Adelman in Lancaster. She was great. I have no idea what
insurance companies she is affiliated with, but her rate is about $150 an
hour and my insurance only required a consult. I didn't have to do the
testing that some people talk about.
Try contacting your insurance. Usually they can tell you what Dr.'s have
been used in the past for this type of service.

I went to Leslie Abromowitz in Pickerington she was great and a female to
boot althoug she was not a big girl haha she was quite nice and really
understandin good luck

i also meant to tell you she takes anthem b/c and b/s HMO nothing but my 10
co pay

Kimberly, I have OSU insurance and I went to see Lisa Lubekeman at the
Center for the Treatment of Eating Disorders and Psychotherapy (at Harding
in Worthington). OSU managed care requires OSU employees to go there for
their evaluation. I liked Lisa and she has done these evaluations many,
many times. The number is 293-9550.

Thanks folks! I made an appt with Dr. Friday, I'll be going Wednesday
afternoon. I've had 4 people recommend him so I have to say I'm confident
that this is the guy to go to in Columbus. Thanks again everyone!
