Question:
Has anyone self-paid for their surgery then filed with insurance?

I know it's far-fetched to think that if they won't approve you before, they sure won't approve you after, but even if I got back just 50%, that's better than nothing.    — Ginger N. (posted on July 11, 2002)

You know, Ginger, I never thought of that!! I have insurance though (BCBS of GA-Federal:PPO), but went out-of-network for my surgeon, so I have to pay big time co-pay! Don't have a problem with that now, because other arrangments were made. I guess I could prepare myself, huh?
