Question:
who will do a psych eval in Jacksonville, FL

I need a local psychologist to do a psych eval quick. Surgery date is 4/18/02 & they just let me know yesterday. None of the psychologists here in Jacksonville, FL seem to know what I'm asking for. I hate to say it, but I really don't think you're going to be able to get an evaluation done that fast... it's only 9 business days away. I don't even know if you could get an appointment that fast. It's ridiculous that they only just let you know. I am in Jacksonville and got my psych eval done by Victorial Manuel (904-223-8060), but she has known me for many years, so I don't know what her procedure is for people she's never met (so it might take longer is what I mean). She has done psych evals for people for plastic surgery, but I was her first for WLS. She often has a month or two wait to get an appointment though, so hopefully someone else will post something more helpful. Good luck!
