Have you had any examination from the doctor? How is your blood work? can you try to go back to soft foods or pureed foods for a while? How is your excersise and protein intake? Try some bland foods like sliced cheese, cottage cheese since you seem to like the cheese.

You don't want to have to say the surgery didn't work for you because you couldn't eat anything but Cheezits. They have way to much salt in them anyway. There was a period of time that i was where you are. I used multigrain low salt soda-crackers with a little string cheese or peanut butter. Also like the other poster suggested, go back to full liquid of soft phase of the program and add each new food slowly and in small amounts. Congrats on your surgery, and good luck on your weight loss journey! 60 lbs is a great success!

I would give your sergeon a call and tell him what is happening. He is there to help you should you have a problem that is preventing you from eating according to your Bariatric diet. He needs to know what your problems are and he can help you best. You need to stop eating junk foods and get back on the diet. Your doctor will understand your issue and I am sure he will help you back on path.

You must not be taking tiny bites ....chewing your food to mush....and are you drinking with meals......you have to get your daily requiremnet of protein in also and what ever you do...don't drink with meals ...it washes the food you are eating out of your pouch quicker and you are hungry faster.....you can eat the things you need to if you take tiny bite....eat slowly and get all the bad things you arre eating....out of your house ....out of your enviorment.....this will only work if you are willing to work with it.

Please know I am saying this in a caring concerned way: Cheetos are not even real food. They are manufactured garbage labeled as food. Completely empty, useless calories. Please, first of all, hun, make an appointment and go see your surgeon. Secondly, go to the store today, and buy jars of baby food. The pureed kind, not the chunky kind. You can but baby food in pureed chicken, beef, turkey, which tastes great warmed and with a tiny pinch of salt/pepper. Also Vegetables, veg/meat combos. Limited amounts of baby food fruits though, as they have a lot of sugar naturally in the fruit. Please try baby food for awhile, and throw the Cheetos out the nearest window. Don't drink anything a 1/2 before meals, or for an hour after meals, or during meals. Get plenty of water in between meals, which can be in the form of Crystal Light powder mix, (try Wild Strawberry flavor!), hot tea, and other sugar free, caffeine free, non-carbonated drinks. Centrum makes an adult chewable multi-vitamin, Wal-Mart sells them, and sells liquid B-Complex Vitamins, and Sugar-free chewable chocolate flavored Calcium + Vitamin D&K supplements. Best wishes, and keep in touch with everyone here, the people here will try their best to offer support, comfort, and advice....

You are feeding your gut what it wants...it wants mushy carbs that bad bacteria just love to feast on...causing you bloating (could be some of your five lbs right there) and water retention form the sodium...It's not easy to learn to eat denser protein...I didn't have a great time with meat either...and I felt more nausea when i ate than anything resembling joy...That went on for quite a while...But I followed the rules and ate what I was supposed to eat...I ate very very slowly and purred my food for 3 months because I could not handle any chunks at all!!! There should be no reason to bring Cheetos into your home...You should not EVEN be going backto any of that kind of food. You should be going from soft proteins to denser ones in stages. It's not supposed to be comfortable...That's what the surgery is all about..."restriction" and you are still healing. It's going to be uncomfortable for some of us. Some people have NO troubles. I rarely dumped at all...But I felt "yuck" most of the time I was eating...Al I wanted was to eat "real" food again...and all that mushy pureed food was not making my belly feel good and happy. It was probably a year before I felt happy eating again...Now? I feel almost totally normal. I can eat anything...you have to work yor way to eating dense proteins...but going backwards and starting with junk food is not healthy or wise...Please see your surgeon soon...You've got to get on track...Please take your vitamins daily!

Dear Dona, I say the following with concern, not judgement..Why would you even consider eating Cheetos? These types of foods should not even be in your home. Throw away the bag. Then call your surgeon and your nutritionist. You should not be getting sick. Go back to full liquids or puree stage in the meanwhile. Please let me know how you make out! I'm praying for you.

You really need to be focusing on proteins and veggies, not carbs. If your stomach is sensitive, I suggest starting over with clear liquids, then full liquids, then mushy foods, then full foods. If you slowly advance, your stomach should be able to tolerate it. If not, something is not quite right and your doc should be called. Have you tried pre-made protein puddings like Snack & Slim or Instone or making your own protein puddings with powder and ff/sf pudding mix? Easy on the stomach, low in carbs, high on protein. Also, a great way to get in some protein is with Whey Up protein drinks, you can sip protein all day long. Also, protein bullets if necessary... low volume, low in carbs, high protein. Work at it, keep trying and making changes to find what you can tolerate that is good for you and good things will come. Dawn
