anyone from medford oregon know how much it costs for surgery on the self pay plan?

Hi there. I'm just north of you (Washington) and I had to do self pay also. I ended up going to Mexico and had a great experience. The cheapest place I found anywhere between Washington and California was $17,500 for the lap band and 25,000 for the RNY. Several places offered this approximate price. Hope this helps give you a ballpark idea to start with.

I do not know about Oreagon, but most people on this board say that its somewhat cheaper to do selfpay. Melissa

I had my surgery done in Medford on 9/13/05 and was a self pay, the cost was $30,000. It included the psych. eval, 4 months at the gym, meetings with nutritionist etc. As it turns out I had to stay in the hospital for 8 days and it was all covered. Very happy with the experience.
