If you can't find documented proof see if your PCP can write something up for you. See what your surgeons office also suggests. Since they deal with alot of insurance companies and alot of paitents i am sure they have stumbled across this as well. Good Luck Michele

I have always been good about getting an annual PAP Smear and pelvic. My gynecologist always made me stand on that nasty scale, so I have requested records from his office. I have also asked family to look for photos of me years back. When you are as old as I am I have photos with 80's hair styles, photo a photo of me at the 85 World Series, family events and friends' weddings that can be otherwise documented. Try thinking out of the box. If you have been MO for that long there must be proof somewhere.

Hi Rees. When you present your proof to Aetna, I think they want copies of whatever records you have, but won't necessarily go back to them to prove what you say. All you can do is present your case. From their perspective, it will look funny that every place you've been is closed, etc., but if it is the truth, just present it. It is in God's hands. Take care, Patricia P.

Most states require that certain files be must be kept for a certain number of years before being destructed. Better Business Burea might be able to help. I'm not sure how strict this needs to be, but what about any checks that may have been paid or credit card chages for any of this? Best luck.
