I dont know anything about revisions in particular. But, my surgeon is Dr. Kamelgard in Newark, NJ. He is excellent! He's been in the business for a long time and that's all he does.

You need a surgeon who specializzes in revisions. You getting D/S A 8 hour surgery? Sounds like a lot. If you were closer to pittsburgh I would recommend my surgeon. He does lots of revisions. You are one of the very few that dont loose well after a RNY. Did you have a RNY, or VBG?

Dear Andrea, I had my first revision at 4 months post op , followed by many , many ,many problems. I had my second revision at 14 months post op, and I flew across the country to have my last surgery with Dr Ki Oh, the best of the best, in my opinion. I went through many long months of unnecessary nauusea/vomiting before this last surgery to correct all that had gone wrong .. either due to mechanics or due to things the original surgeon did or didnt do in my first two surgeries.. I hope you will research long and hard, and do whatever is best in your situation. I know I am glad that I chose to fly 3000 miles from home for my surgery and would not hesitate to fly out again tomorrow if needed. Hugs,
