LOOKING FOR A WLS DORCTOR IN SAN JOSE CA......
I HAD THE MEDIAL G/B ON 7/24/08 IN WASHINGTON STATE. I NOW LIVE IN THE BAY AREA (SAN JOSE CA) AND NEED A DOC THAT I CAN GO TO THAT CAN HELP TRACK MY WEIGHT LOSS. DOES ANYONE HAVE A DOC THEY CAN REFERR ME TO???? — ROSIE408 (posted on March 23, 2009)

I live in Manteca CA and because I am going through my insurence, they gave
me two option of in-network providers. 1) slim life center in Sacramento
& 2) Alta Bates Summit Baricatric Center of Excellence in Oakland. I
chose ABS because of high recommendation of friends and fellow droctors I
work with. They have a very orginized program, it's simpe to follow and
understand what the services they offer and what they expect of you as a
patient. Diets are written down in plain English. The informational binder
is a life saver. I love that place and I'm so happy I chose that program. I
know it's in Oakland and not San Jose, but it's well worth the travel.

I am not familiar with your surgery but I am happy with Dr. John Morton,
Chief of Surgical Specialties at Stanford University/Hospital. Michael is
