Question:
Today is surgery day

I'm having surgery today and I feel incredibly at peace. I know this is the right thing. I appreciate this forum and everyone who post and answers. God bless Lisa    — Lisa von Wallmenich (posted on March 25, 2009)

Good for you Lisa! I agree with you. This forum is fabu dahling! I am sure that all will go well today. Be sure to com e back and let us know how you're feeling. I have not had my surgery yet. So it's always great for me to hear about the success stories, especially the "no pain up in a couple of days" reports.

Lisa.... you will do great! Sounds like you've both mentally and physically prepared for this life change, which is what I did, for months before hand. I had surgery on Monday, came home on Wednesday, and was out shopping almost every day there after for one little thing or another. I wasn't particularly tired, but I was pretty sore. However, the more I moved, the less sore I became, and the faster it became easy to get around. Congratulations on your decision to get healthy! We'll see you on the loser's bench!

Hi Lisa, I know just what you mean. I had my sleeve on 3/17/09 and was never uneasy about it. I took it that my decision was the right thing to do, and that's why I had no worries! You will do great with your WLS!!! With all of us in your corner, you can't help but to become a "loser!" God Bless, Dawn
