Dreams are our brains' way of processing our day-to-day life events. I'm sure the surgery has been on your mind quite a bit lately, and this is coming out in your subconscious dream cycles. It's normal that you should be having these dreams. I had quite a few when I was pre-op.

Ha! I had a dream just like that. I was trying on an old pair of jeans that haven't fit me in a year, and they were too loose. Very disappointing when I finally woke up. Oh, well, at least dreams like this show we probably have a positive mindset about the sugery.

I think it is perfectly normal to dream about being thinner and being post-op. I don't know how close you are to surgery (mine is scheduled for 4 weeks from now - not getting too excited, as I am still waiting for approval), anyway, I have had several dreams about being post-op and feeling fabulous! I also know that the closer it gets to my surgery date, the more my dreams will be related to this. Please don't think you're going crazy, your mind and your body are probably telling you that you are on the right path! Good luck to you!

Pre op I deamed like that. I have to say that being a post op is WAY better than any of my dreams! Down 115 pounds! POST OP IS THE PLACE TO BE!

i dreamt that i went into surgery & afterwards the surgeon went to my hubby to report that all was well. when i woke up i was sooooooo disappointed i cried for 10 minutes. BUT, i also took the dream as an omen & i knew from that time on i was meant to have the surgery. i am almost 8 weeks post op & i feel GREAT!!!
