Question:
To all post- ops have the appearance of stretch marks gotten better?

I am pre op and my belly looks like a road map I have a lot of stretch marks and I was wondering if the appearance of these will improve or not really change much. I have very good elasticity and am only 28 years old so I think that there may be hope. Your responces are greatly appreciated. I am looking forward to my surgery regardless. no, my scarring hasn't gotten better. It has healed nicely but I have this long black scar going down my stomach. Does this dispoint me? no, not really!! I never plan to ever wear a bikini or show my belly button or stomach. I call it my badge of honor. since I had my surgery six months ago I've lost 100 pounds. Its a small price to pay to lose weight.

I have been using Palmer's cocoa butter massage cream for stretch marks. In pregnancy section of stuff at CVS. While they will not go away,I'm hoping they will look better. I also bought some pure Vit. E oil. I've also heard Aqua-phor at Wal-mart pharmacy was good. You have to ask for it. Also Scargo at health food stores.
