Whats up with burning in my throat/pain at 8 months post op. It feels like stomach acid in the back of my throat. I a have never had a proble with reflux, ulcers and the like. Please give me some input. THANKS! Kelly R    — k r. (posted on May 2, 2003)

Hi, Kelly, it seems to me that you have acid reflux because I had the same problem now at 3 months post-op and my doctor did an endoscopy and determined that was the problem, because all of my food was coming back up too and I was having the same problem with acid in the back of my throat. So, my doctor switched me to nexium and now I don't have any problems. So, you might want talk to your doctor because this can happen later on in post-op months too I was told. hope this info helps, good luck.
