Question:
My BCBS changed their guidelines- advice needed of referral letter

BCBS Empire changed there guidelines 10 days ago. I need another letter from my pcp, the letter must read health issues and 2- 26 week supervised diet attempts anyone have advice on what to write? My PCP left the letter in my hands and he will sign it. I have been his patient since 1988. I can't get approved for a date until the letter is submitted and that is the only thing I'm waiting on.    — Maureen A. (posted on April 1, 2003)
