Question:
Does anyone know of a Surgeon & Hospital in the Mid-South who will accept self pay?

I am having a difficult time finding Drs who will do a self pay. One would think they'd jump at the chance to accept cold hard cash. At the present time, I am uninsured and I need WLS. If you would consider traveling to MS, contact Dr. Amy T. Rose in Biloxi, MS. You can look up the number here under surgeons while you read all the great feedback she has received. She is an awesome surgeon & highly sought after. I think I can remember hearing somewhere back down the line, that she did accept self pay. Hope I remembered right. Good luck.

There are several surgeons in the Atlanta area who will accept self pay for wls patients.. You can go to the find a surgeon section of this site,and get their names, addresses and phone numbers.. Take care Hugs,

www.sabariatric.com They are doctors in San Antonio, Texas. I had my lap RNY two weeks ago self-pay and it all went very well. Dr. Pilcher, Dr. Reiss, Dr. Selinkoff, and Dr. Duperier are very well known and highly recommended. Good luck!
