Question:
Has anyone had Medica pay for batwing removal or thigh lift?

I live in Minn. and was told by 1 plastic surgeon that ins. never covers either of these surgeries but I've seen folks on this site who have had it done. Do I stand a chance or do I need to start saving up?    — Jill M. (posted on August 25, 2002)

I was told by PCP that I should (being the key word) be able to have ins pay for it. Why? Because I have a rash and cycts that are there and hardly clear up. He stated that it should be paid for to help with the reduction of that infection. Theres no way to know for sure if they will after surg, because my body will be changing a lot and that may change as well (bumps rash ect..)but if it doesnt clear up I am a go for TT/Batwings/Boob lift... (boob life they would cover right now according to PCP) Hope this helps..
