Tuesday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!

John, what a great day September 11th will be for you. May this be an awesome beginning to a whole new chapter in your life. Best wishes on shedding the old shell which isn't really who you are. I too am an insulin dependent diabetic. I would love it if you would let me know how your progress goes with this. With blessings - Nancy

Hi John...you are soooo close to LapBandLand! I had my surgery on Sept 11, 2006. It has changed my life. I have lost almost 80 lbs. and am loving being "normal" and not the largest one in the group. Good luck on your surgery and you will be in my prayers.
