Hi Connie, Just wanted to say you hang in there! God is taking care of you! :) I think we all feel the struggle now of the old eating habits. I have pulled some inspiration from people on this web site and am going to do the stillman diet to kick start my loss again. It will put your body into ketosis (what we went through when we 1st got surgery) and get into those beginers habits again. We are all in this together and I completely understand what you mean about getting up and taking care of things when I was bigger. It was sooo hard to do the normal things in life. We are beating this and you are doing a wonderful job! Look how far we've come! Hang in there! God Bless! (((hugs)))

Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).
