16 Days Post-Op

Yesterday, I was able to shop in a few regular stores for clothing. It felt terrific! No more special ordering online from Woman Within and Roamans and waiting for UPS to deliver. I can go right out to Ross and Kmart when I need something in a pinch. What a wonderful victory!!

17 Days Post-Op

Today, I met with a couple of my dearest friends at a restaurant. I walked in, spotted my friend in a booth, hesitated for a moment, and then said AH, why not?! I sat right down in that booth, easily slid over to allow my other friend into the booth, and still had room between my belly and the table! Amazing! At 68 pounds lost (53 before surgery), I already have a few small but monumental victories.
