I am 1 Month Today!!!

On 3/20/2012 I was sitting in a little room waiting to be wheeled back into an operating room to have a procedure that would forever change my life. In honor of the day I got on a scale to see how far I have come and another 5 lbs have gone. I am officially down 41lbs from my highest weight! 41!!!!! Yet I had the nerve to be a little upset that I have only lost 5 lbs this week and then I had to think about it and say to myself, "Shaw are you serious???? When have you EVER lost 5 lbs in a week??? When have you ever walked 3 miles? Girl get it together!" (Don't judge me for talking to myself, and don't you dare act like you don't!!
)My hubby just came past the computer as I'm typing and asked me if I am happy about my decision thus far? And all I could say is "Yes. I couldn't be happier." Even with the times of having to throw up, or hating having to chew until I have a mouth full of mush (which still bothers me
), or forcing myself to eat because I have totally forgotten to eat all day, I 
my RNY!! So to all of my surgery sisters I want to say HAPPY 1 MONTH Nu-birthday to you
(this is a high protein/lowcarb/gluten free/ sugarfree cake)!!! And to everyone on my friends list: I want to thank all of you for being a part of my journey. All the private messages and comments on my blogs and pics mean so much to me. It's great to know that we're not alone on this journey.I'm hitting the beach tomorrow (no I will not be in a bathing suit lol) but I hope to have some pics. Who am I kidding, I will definitely have some pics.
