Life is full of obstacles.

Dec 14, 2010

So it has been a year 3 months and 4 days since I have had my WLS.  I have lost a considerable amount of weight (my beautiful wife Aurora who also had the surgery has too! she is down to 130lbs so very proud of her!.)  However 2 months ago she told me she wanted a divorce she wants to see if there is someone better than me out there for her.  Now I've heard that this happens to couples when one person has had the surgery and the other hasn't that the one that didn't have the surgery gets insure.  But When I spoke to my great Doctor about it he was pretty certain that this wouldn't happen to us.  He said it wouldn't happen because we were going through this journey together and that we would be each others support system.

So here i find myself today sitting in my one bedroom apartment without my beautiful wife and my lovely children wondering what went wrong???  What happened that drove us apart???  And will we ever come back together (I have faith that we will), but I can't help but wonder...
