Sleeved!

I've been sleeved! I was sleeved on Wednesday, July 3rd. It was a good experience. I couldn't imagine anything going better. My nurses in the hospital were a little disappointing but I can't blame surgery for that. 

Once the doctor got inside I had some issues going on some hernias and things like that but thankfully he went ahead and fixed those. Thank you, doctor!

I didn't have as much pain as I really thought I would in the hospital. I couldn't urinate - go figure - so I had to get a catheter. WORST FEAR EVER! Ha. But, I was just ready to be relieved at that point so whatever. (SORRY IF TMI!)

Once I got home the gas pains started and oh, boy. They hurt! They are annoying. They cause all kind of discomfort. I moaned the day after I got home for so long my boyfriend was trying to take me back to the hospital - ha. But, I had read up and I knew what it was. I still have some. But, not like they were. This is day 5 and it's better but I'm excited for the next few days when the pain is completely gone (I hope!)

I haven't eaten and need to get on that pretty soon. I just am not hungry.

Just thought I would update ya'll!

I had lost 14 pounds on my pre-op diet and down 6 pounds since surgery. 

20 pounds gone already! Hello, losers bench!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
