There's no place like home

After nearly 12 hours and three planes...we are finally home.
Swelling and pain are present and abundant, but at least I'm in my own surroundings and am home with my kiddos. I didn't sleep very well on the first night home and ended up "sleeping" on the sofa. I wonder how long I will be stuck out there?
Things are healing well and it is such a relief to have been able to come home without sutures or drains. It will be interesting to see the changes as they happen...hopefully they will be positive changes instead of the less-than-stellar ones so far due to swelling!
I will be posting new pictures this week and hopefully I will be not only surprised, but pleased with what I see. Until then...it's nap time.
