Testing, Testing 1 2 3

Alright! Another "to do" checked off my list. I went and got all my labs drawn and chest x-ray taken yesterday morning. I tell you what, Saturday morning is the time to go do labs! It was so quiet there, you could here a pin drop. I did my labs and just as the tech put the bandaid on, the radiology guy comes over and asks if I'm ready to go. I did the whole dang thing in 15 minutes.  (Note to any preops who might read this...you can do the chest x-ray with your bra on if you don't have underwire)

Thursday I have the EKG and gallbladder ultrasound to do and then I'm finished! All that's left at that point is get my date (finally!!), do the pre-op nutrition and surgeon appointments. Then its time to go under the knife! (I guess I should say, um... "under the laprascopic instruments" but it doesn't have the same ring to it)

I don't know what it is- pent up energy or something- but I have been nesting! It feels just like before I had my two kids. Wish I could say " but without the huge belly", but nope, I've got that too. :) Anyway, I've been on this cleaning spree and am organizing every single nook and cranny of my house. Its probably a good thing. When I've got people here at the house helping me after surgery, I will feel much better knowing they won't be injured by an avalanche of boxes if they go in the hall closet.
