the waiting game...

Whew! This waiting is getting to me. There's so much hurry up and wait involved in this process. I decided to do the pre-op testing here locally. First I had to wait a few days for the list of tests to be mailed to me. Now my doctors nurse is out of the office for a few days. UGH! I think I should have everything done except the gallbladder ultrasound done by the end of the week though. And then I should finally get a date!

So while I'm waiting, I'm going to start writing my list of "I can't wait to..." that so many before me have done. Here's mine so far.

I Can't Wait To
Never use a seatbelt extention on an airplane again!
Quit mistaking my undies for one of my sons tanktops when folding laundry. :p
Rock some knee high boots!
Paint my toenails without using a forklift
Buy cute matching bra and undie sets
For someone to say "Thanks, you too" when I tell them they look great.
Shop in the regular section!
Do a workout video without modifying the moves
Sit in one of those white plastic deck chairs without my bootie spilling over the sides
Borrow clothes from my friends
Have someone not recognize me
Go hiking again
Go jet skiing
Stop having pain in my feet
Quit making excuses to not attend social functions
Be just "regular" obese
be overweight
be average!!!!
