Well it has been officially 11 weeks today since I've had surgery. I've lost 52 lbs. total and I feel great. I did just get over strep throat and boy did that knock me for a loop, the pain was horrible. I felt 10 times worse with that than when I had my surgery. Someone said it's harder when you are an adult, well I believe it, I had strep when I was in high school but I sure don't remember it hurting as bad as I did earlier this week. Thank goodness my meds are pretty strong and I feel great again. Haven't been able to walk for several days since I was sick, but I am going to get outside today for sure. I just discovered Kroger Carb master yogurt and boy am I excited, it may not be as sweet as some of the other kinds but the 6 oz container has 12 grams of protein, 4 carbs, 1.5 grams of fat and 3 grams of sugar. You can't beat that for helping with getting the protein in, especially if you are someone like me and hate protein drinks and I don't really do meat yet. Once again, I'm going to say how happy I am that I had this surgery done.
