I am More Than my weight and clothing size

Sep 20, 2010

I was working this morning, I had the television on in the background.  I was working away, really not paying attention and something caught my attention in a big, big way.  It was the Today show, later than the early version.  Anyway, what caught my attention was "We are More Than our numbers"!  They were primarily talking about age but the reason it stood out to me in such a big, loud way is about weight.

I wrote about this on my blog www.mydailyminutes.com but wanted to write something here on my blog to share with other members.  I think that many of us identify with how much we weigh and what size we wear.  Now, that isn't to say those things aren't important BUT not to the extent that I have made them in my own life and I wonder about other members too.  I am so much More Than a few numbers.  What I weigh and the size I wear is such a limitation as to who I am.

I really believe this will change my perspective and how I feel about my weight, size and even who I am.  I hope it helps someone else here too just as it has helped me.
