Today was my EKG. Went fine....no issues with that. The doctor wants to do a stress test though since I have diabetes. Ugh! There are no appointments until next Thursday, the 11th so that will set things back a week. Grrrrr....

One issue has arisen though, I was laid off from my job on Wednesday. My husband and I talked about it, and even though cash reserves are critical now, we agreed that I should still have the surgery. I will try to find some temp things until time for surgery (March sometime, at least), and after I am back on my feet, do the job search. How nice to be on the losing side when I'm job hunting. Perhaps I will feel better about myself and have a much needed boost of confidence before I hit the streets!

We shall see how the stress test goes next week. :)
