Like others, I do regret waiting until this point to get the surgery and not doing it sooner. I wish I listened to my doctor when she first suggested it 2 years and 50 lbs less than my starting weight. Nonetheless, I am happy I did it at all.

That's the only regret I have. As much as it can be frustrating to get full so quickly when you're out at a restaurant, it's such a minor thing compared to how great I feel and how much healthier I am!

Hey there! I am also a previous lap band patient. I was banded in Aug 08 and band eroded and was removed Sept 14. I was determined to "do it on my own" after the band come out, but even with eating good, exercise, weigh****chers etc I've just been gaining and gaining.

I've decided to have the sleeve, and go see my surgeon on Tuesday for consult!

I only wish the sleeve was more widely used in 2008, I probably would have done it then if I had know! I am so ready to lose the weight I thought I was going to with the band! I have realized I need this tool, and can't wait to change my life for a healthier and happier me!
