600 cal??? Really???

Just chiming in here with agreement.  If you are eating healthy, that low of calories is not hard! For example, a light greek yogurt is usually my breakfast which gives me 12g protein for only 80 calories.  Lunch is usually 1/2-2/3 of a grilled chicken breast with a few bites of veggies.  I can't even finish a whole grilled breast! 

Most people still have a battle with "head hunger"... that's where you smell or see something (or just think about it) and think "oh, that would be soooo good". However, that is very, very different from true hunger.  Some people feel hunger, but I do not.  I just start feeling hollow in my gut if I go too long without eating.  I eat 3 meals and 2 snacks and rarely get up to 800 calories in a day.

There's no way you could do 600 calories pre-op, but it's easy post-op!

Enjoy it while you can, ladies, and take full advantage of these first few months... in a couple of years it'll be waaaay different! ;)
