Leg cramps

Are we talking about these muscle cramps that are so bad they take your breath away literally?  I have inner thigh ones and also ones that happen from my toes to my knees.  They pulsate so they come and go and my own husband will try to bend my leg downwards and it won't go.  I am going to try the electrolytes today because I have had bloodwork done and all my vitamins and stuff were normal but I can't recall the electrolytes part.  Thank you guys because I thought it was just me!

The pain took my breath away last night and my son had to help me walk it off.

I never said it would be easy. I said it would be worth it.

Yes.  Those kinds of cramps.  The pain has made me cry real tears.

Magnesium Citrate was my savior.

Thank you for the idea.  I am willing to give anything a go.  I went on Saturday and got the gatorade and sure enough...no cramps.  Well I didn't realize there was zero calorie powerade so I got that yesterday and drank half the bottle...no cramps.  I don't wanna jinx it but so far so good!

The Powerade Zero always works for me. The low calorie Gatorade still has something like 80 calories, which is a lot.

Yeah at first I thought oh Lort...this will add calories, but then I saw the Powerade Zero, and was ever-thankful.  Thank you G!

My leg cramps don't sound as painful as yours, but I figured out mine are not from low electrolytes, but from low iron! After my labs, I had to quadruple my iron intake and it's helped the cramps a lot.
